Waterlefe Golf & River Club is situated within a natural setting among five unforgettable signature golf holes that border the Manatee River. Designed by Ted McAnlis, the championship par 72 course offers eight different tees ranging from 4,800 yards to 6,900 yards that are challenging and fun for golfers of all skill levels.

Host to the US Open Qualifier an unprecedented six times, Waterlefe Golf & River Club is renowned for excellent course conditions and has  most notably received the “Top 25 Golf Courses in Florida” award from Golf Advisor as well as Trip Advisor’s “Certificate of Excellence” award.

COVID 19 UPDATE
Golf Clubhouse
  • Golf Club remains open but with open doors so no physical contact will be needed to enter or exit building
  • Staff will continuously clean and sanitize surfaces
  • A hand sanitization station has been installed as you enter the building
Golf Services
  • At request, each golfer will be provided their own cart
  • Club carts will be sanitized after each use
  • Outside Service Staff has been directed to NOT physically touch golfer’s bags or private carts without consent from the owner
    • If you choose to have a staff member help you, they are directed to wash hands and sanitize hands prior to returning to work
  • Bag storage has been closed
Food & Beverage Services
  • The Grille Room is offering take-out during regular business hours
  • Grille Room and Lefe Room dining are closed
  • An outside service station has been created
Driving Range
  • Driving Range remains open
  • Bag stands and patio chairs have been removed from the range
  • 50% of Driving Range mats have been removed to allow for social spacing while warming up
Golf Course
  • Golfers are directed to not touch the flagsticks
    • A fixture has been placed in each cup to allow for easy removal of your golf ball after holing out
    • Your putt is deemed holed if your ball rests in the cup or if your ball enters the cup and bounces out due to the fixture
  • Encourage “gimmies” if your ball rests within a respectable distance from the hole
  • All rakes are removed from bunkers
    • To the best of your ability use the sole of your foot to smooth surface of the bunker after use
  • All ball washers are removed from the golf course
  • All ice and water stations are turned off and disengaged
  • The two comfort stations on the golf course are sanitized regularly throughout the day
  • Tee Time intervals have increased to 15 minutes in order to accommodate each player using one cart
